Biography

Dr. Pippa Malmgren is a multiple bestselling author who is a world expert in the Economy, Leadership, and Technology. She is especially interested in explaining trends in the economy that people can take advantage of or better prepare for.  A two-time World Economic Forum Global Leader for Tomorrow, Pippa is an internationally regarded financial authority and trend spotter who takes on economics through a unique holistic lens, showing companies and individuals how they can extract valuable insights and economic implications by tapping into subtle signals strewn throughout our daily lives.  A former advisor to the US President, British Prime Minister, and to the National Economic Council, Dr. Malmgren shows audiences the human side of economics by demonstrating how everyday details ranging from hemlines to cereal boxes tie into the larger financial picture.  As a successful entrepreneur she shares her techniques for forecasting trends, finding opportunities, and fully capitalizing on them.  Dr. Malmgren is one of the few experts who accurately predicted the 2007-2008 Real Estate Bubble, BREXIT, and Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
