Navigating the Temporary Foreign Worker Program – Staying Compliant from LMIA to Work Permit

Cassandra Conacher | Senior Immigration Consultant Newland Chase

March 12, 2019

10:00am – 12:00pm

In this workshop, we will walk participants through a step-by-step of preparing a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), and will go through a case study of a Temporary Foreign Worker file, discussing common errors that lead to compliance issues during audits and inspections. We will take participants through an internal audit process, so that they are equipped to audit their own Temporary Foreign Worker files, so that they are well-positioned for success when faced with an audit or on-site inspection.
