Marie-Noëlle Desrochers joined Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in 2003 as a trade policy analyst and is Director of the Trade Negotiations Division since 2018. She took part in the negotiation of numerous trade agreements, including the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement with the European Union, the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Canada United States Mexico Agreement.

Ms. Desrochers has a Masters in International Affairs from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University.
